For Seaco Group, CSR is also social entrepreneurship. We do this in various ways. Employees can count on a social way of managing. In addition, when hiring new employees, Seaco Group specifically wants to look at candidates with a disadvantage on the labour market. It provides extra guidance initially, but ultimately gives more commitment and cohesion in the company. So doing business for Seaco Group also means giving people opportunities.
By producing as efficiently as possible, making optimal use of our warehouse (shuttle system) and trading (e.g. once-a-day transport), we try to be energy-conscious.
Finally, Seaco Group likes to support good initiatives by companies that support local projects and also help implement them themselves. Think of supporting local sports clubs to give children the opportunity to play and play sports together.
But internationally, Seaco Group also wants to contribute by supporting projects, where coffee farmers with their families can create better facilities, education and harvests, and together with like-minded entrepreneurs, oversee the effective achievement of results for these people.
