Flexitallic Flexpro™ Thermiculite® 845

Flexitallic Flexpro™ Thermiculite® 845 consists of a serrated metal core onto which is bonded a vermiculite based sealing face. The metallic core provides gasket rigidity and blow-out resistance while the soft Thermiculite® 845 facing provides exceptional sealing performance.Flexpro™ Thermiculite® 845 gaskets are suitable for use in a wide range of sealing applications. They are capable of creating a high integrity seal in the most demanding environments, even in load compromised situations.

Typical application include superheated steam, strong oxidising media and elevated temperature service. The metallic core material can be selected to suit specific applications. Flexpro™ gaskets can be manufactured to recognised international standards or to suit bespoke connections. This gasket style is commonly used in TEMA type flanges on shell and tube heat exchanges and can be fitted with pass bars to suit any design.
