FVMQ Rubber O-Rings
FVMQ (Fluorosilicone rubber) is a specialized type of silicone rubber modified with fluorinated groups. It combines the flexibility and thermal stability of silicone with improved chemical resistance to fuels and oils. This makes it particularly suitable for aerospace, automotive, and defense applications, where exposure to both extreme temperatures and aggressive fluids is common.
Key Properties
Temperature range: -60 °C to +200 °C (briefly up to approx. 230 °C)
Excellent resistance to:
Fuels (including aromatic blends)
Oils and greases (motor oils, ATF, hydraulic oils)
Ozone and UV
Low temperatures (remains flexible)
Typical Applications
FVMQ O-rings are commonly used in:
Aerospace systems
Automotive (fuel systems, turbocharged engines)
High-performance electronics
Applications requiring both heat and fuel resistance
