Amorim TD1049

Amorim TD1049 is a premium-grade sealing material composed of high-quality cork granules bonded with nitrile rubber (NBR). This formulation offers excellent sealing performance, strength, flexibility, and long-lasting durability. It is particularly suitable for applications involving transformer oils and other industrial fluids.

TD1049 is designed to resist:

  • Mineral insulating oils
  • Silicone oils
  • Natural ester oils​


It maintains its sealing properties under prolonged exposure to these fluids at elevated temperatures.

Environmental Compliance

TD1049 is manufactured in compliance with current regulations for hazardous substances:

  • Asbestos-free
  • Free from heavy metals (Pb, Cd, Hg, Cr(VI))
  • Free from polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs)​
