Amorim TD1120

Amorim TD1120 is a high-performance gasket material designed primarily for applications in the energy and transformer industry. It is a composite of cork and nitrile rubber (NBR), engineered to deliver excellent sealing performance under mechanical stress and prolonged contact with transformer insulating oils.

TD1120 is specifically formulated to resist:

Mineral insulating oils

Natural ester oils
SF₆ gas (limited suitability)

It complies with ASTM D3455 and D5282 standards for oil compatibility, ensuring long-term stability even after extended exposure to elevated temperatures (up to 125 °C for over 500 hours).

Environmental Compliance

TD1120 is manufactured asbestos-free and does not contain:

Heavy metals (Pb, Cd, Hg, Cr(VI))
Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs)

This makes it a safer and more sustainable choice for industrial sealing.
