Our PTFE shields are constructed from three layers of woven Teflon-coated fibreglass fabric, reinforced with a central thick Teflon scrim for added strength. This inherently UV-resistant material is ideally suited for use with concentrated acids, caustics, and fuel or lube oils.
Each shield is rigorously tested in our hydrostatic pressure test facility. Test certificates are available on request.
Unlike low-quality copies that often use substandard materials, our shields are designed for durability and safety. Inferior or ill-fitting shields can cause dangerous lateral spray and mist formation.
